I'm embellishment challenged.. any suggestions?

Embellishment Challenged, its no secret..  I have said it before and I'll say it again.  I am so intimidated
by adding embellishments.  I see all of the beautiful cards online with gorgeous embellishments placed
all over them, yet when it comes to doing it myself, I freak out!

While I can see that my card below needs something, I just don't know what to do,  Any suggestions???   Thanks for taking a peak at my card.

  1. Ooo, I am the other way, hun - I never know when to stop with the embellishments. I have to forcibly tell myself to 'step away from the card'!! Lol.

Your card is gorgeous - I love the yellow. Maybe you could add some leaves to the flowers and a what about a lovely yellow ribbon bow??

  2. hi sher,

you can add a border punch with another designpaper under it.

    or a swirl.

    some rhinestine or half pearls.

    greetings karin

  3. To be honest I think you have the embellishments just right on this card, that image is beautiful.

  4. This is a really pretty card and I love the colours. All that I would add is perhaps a matching delicate organza bow, and maybe a few pearls or rhinestones - not too much!!

  5. Very pretty card, lovely image and colours. I'm not so sure it needs further embellishing!

  6. Beautiful card as always the pretty colours and layout too hun.

  7. This card is beautiful. You really need to do what you are comfortable with and what you like best! Some people have more of a simple style, while other like to pile it on. I go back and forth with the two, but tend to struggle more with simple. I feel like it may look too empty. If this was my card I would have added some bigger flowers and then some little flowers off to the side. Some ribbon and probably a sentiment with the little cupcake. Wow, Sher you did an amazing job coloring!

  8. I know what you mean, Sher. I am challenged in that way, too, and often spend hours deciding on embellishments LOL I like the pretty designer papers you have used, and the darling little flowers. I like your card the way it is - it is "you", Sher, and it means that it came from your heart - no one else can make a card like the one that comes from your dear heart. hugs, de
