This hop runs all weekend,  you will have plenty of time to make it all the way through the hop.  So let the party begin !
Here is my Project for the hop I was given the snow critters set found here:

On to my project...
I am using the snow critters stamp set and the artic stamp set to make this Snowy Critters game board with pieces.  I thought that the pieces worked so well together that I wanted to use both sets.
The idea of the game board is to get your critter all the way around the board and be the first one to the
igloo before the other critters.  Along the way you will run into both good and bad cards from the draw
pile.  You might run into a blizzard sending all of the critters back to start.  You might make a snowman
and get to skip ahead 2 spaces.  You can make your own game board and your own set of rules with
any of the critter sets.  If you do, I would love to see it. :)    I had a great time coloring up all the little
animals, and already of thinking of my next game to make.    :)

What's up Pussy cat?

What's up Pussy cat?  Today I made a wobble card. They always make me smile.  I must be a kid at heart.  I don't know if that is what it is really called or not, but if you flick the kitty she wobbles side to side.  If you would like to see it wiggle and jiggle you can view it here on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-fG3e2ArCc&feature=youtu.be

This kitty stamp is from www.sunsationalstamps.com in the city critters stamp set.  I made this today
for my dt card for Sunsational Stamps, but then I saw 3 fun challenges that I thought, hey I can make
my card better.  I don't know if it actually made it better though, I like both ways. What do you think
clean and simple or with the extras?

My card without the ribbon, and pearls.

ribbons and pearls added to my card.

I am entering 3 challenges with today's card.  Thanks for taking a peak. :)

1. Cupcake Inspirations color challenge (pink, black and white) http://cupcakeinspirations.blogspot.com/

2,  Whimsy Stamps Challenge- http://whimsyinspires.blogspot.com/ (use a sentiment)

3.  Crafting By Designs - http://craftingbydesigns.blogspot.com/  (bingo board)

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!   Do you have plans?  I'm going furniture shopping today.
I through my living room set out over the summer, and have had nothing in my living room since
then except office chairs. LOL   Well it's time to get a nice recliner and a couch today. yay!
I hope to find something comfy.  Can't be worse than the office chairs. LOL

Okay back to my post...

My card today is inspired from the card sketch over at; http://sweetsketchwednesday2.blogspot.com/2015/02/sketch-44-and-doodle-pantry.html

They have an awesome simple sketch, here is a photo of it:

Spinner Card

Spinner card featuring squirrel

Today's card is a spinner card.  This little squirrel spins all around the
circle carrying his nut.  Can you believe it is a penny that makes this card work?
This is the first time I have made one of these, so it is a little rough.

I've used the squirrel stamp at this link:

I really like this little critter.  As a matter of fact I love all of the stamps in the new
City Critter Set that is coming available soon.  Be sure to check out all of the new
stamps being listed daily in the store.  http://www.sunsationalstamps.com/

One card 2 challenges

I'm not quite sure what kind of card I am going to make this, so no sentiment yet.
I think this little image is just the cutest.  Secret, I messed up on the hair and made it
too dark, so I put all the white little dots in there and really like how it turned out.
It wasn't until this very second that I realized I made my ladybugs inverted colors. LOL
no wonder they are a little dull.  ah, but still cute.  :)

I am entering this card in two challenges.

I got the colors from the Pals Paper Arts challenge of gray, pink, and rose.
You can come enter too right here; PPA238

I got the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. You can play along with their
sketch 182 here: http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/

purple!

It's still cold here in Michigan and what better way to spend the day than crafting?

There are a couple of fun challenges going on today.

Feeling Sketchy has a fun sketch challenge #114
and
Hambo Hoedown: Symbols of Feb.
and

I didn't have  purple paper other than the very dark stuff in the back, so ...
I put my thinking cap on and did two different things.  I took out two
different colors of paint and made my own patterned purple paper, and
the other thing I did for the strip that is going down, I designed an
ombre digital paper and printed it out.  :)  Nice to think of something
out of the box once in awhile. :)

It's a chilly day here in Michigan. I believe just 15 degrees last I knew, so I am going to
keep wishing for spring to come by coloring nice summery images.

This image is a freebie digi stamp from dearie dolls. If you haven't been there and you like
to color be sure to take a peak.  They have 100's of stamps for free.

Pout it Out

I had so much fun doing challenges last month with my friend Jen, that I thought I would keep it going again, and do another month.

Today's challenges Jen and I decided to do are the Cupcake Inspiration Colors #296 found here:
http://cupcakeinspirations.blogspot.com/
and
Crafting when we can Favorite Quote challenge found here: http://craftingwhenwecanchallenges.blogspot.com/

wow my blue looks way off when put side by side huh? lol  ah well, it got
me out of my funk of using the same colors over and over.  What do you think
about the quote? pretty cute huh?  The image is a My-Besties digi stamp
called pouting prudence, or time out prudence and can be found at Scrapbook stamp society.

Enjoy the simple things

It's Sunday!  You know what that means, it's time for Sweet Sunday Sketch 254! yay!!!!
Come play along here: http://kgiron.blogspot.com/

I'm using a great boy stamp from Bugaboo Stamps.  I think he is darling, and
so easy to color up.
My sentiment stamps is from one of the stamping sets from Sherri Baldy My-Besties.
My paper is from Heidi Grace called Sunshowers. I bought the full thing of 6x6 papers at
Tuesday Morning for just $1.99.  The one thing I like better than
going shopping for crafting supplies is getting a great deal. :) Now if I could just get
them to take coupons from Michaels. LOL
