Twix loves her stick and goes for a swim #51 sketch challenge

Last week we decided to see if my son's dog Twix liked to swim at the local pond.  He threw the stick in the pond and she went right in to get it.  Each time he threw the stick a little further for her.  She was unsure of how to swim at first, but got the hang of it quickly.  She loves to play fetch and
the water made it even more fun for her.   When she got tired, she took her stick into the giggly weeds, knowing he wouldn't go in after her to throw it again.  She is such a sweet dog, she would play with that stick all day, just not in the water.

 

I had two fun patterned pieces of beach paper so I decided to combine the two together.

The sand patterned paper made it a lot easier for me to write on than the blue wavy fish paper for my journaling.
