On this card I had to make a shape, it had to be summery, and couldn't use markers, so I used gel pens. Its pretty plain, not sure what I can do to give it a little bit of pizazz, but I feel it needs something.

This digital image is a freebie from Happileigh Scrappin Challenge Blog http://hlscfreebies.blogspot.com/ I am entering it into their challenge. This card was kind of difficult to do and I had to do it twice to get it right. Shaped card Challenge - I made this card in the shape of the digital image. Kinda cool huh? It stands up perfectly too. YAY! Her image is so cute, love that ladybug.

Shoes card with matching bookmark

I entered this in 2 challenges:
The challenge over at Sweet Stampin http://sweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.com is to make a card with fashion as the theme. I made a shoe card at first on the left. Then I decided to make "it's a girl thing" bookmark. I added pink gems to it, and decided thats exactly what my card needed too. So I added those in the photo to the right. (my gem fell off my bookmark in the photo, but its fixed now) :)

If friends were flowers

Today I made one of the easiest cards ever. I got a free digi file from Di's digi downloads (thanks Di) took that into a paint program and colored it in there, added a sentiment, and printed it out!

Only had to decide what kind of card to put it on then. I decided to go with one that folded in the middle. I really like it.

I was checking out the challenges for inspiration today and ended up making a really cute card combining a few of them.

Colorful Creations: July Blog Challenge Use stripes and flowers and the saying... Summertime, and the living is easy! I used green stripe paper, and embossed it with flowers.

new Birtrhday present file svg

This was a fun card to create and easy to do. I used blue cardstock, white cardstock, and a polka dot paper. Blue gems (sorry I forget which company) For my ribbons- they are actually empty tape dot rolls that I cut in long strips and curled with my scissors.

I made this card for the wiper card challenge, but unfortunately I was a little late, when I went to add it to the collection it was already closed.

This is a get well card, that has a little tag that springs up that has a heart on it. I chose to do it all in black and cream.

Easy Peasy box

This morning I had an empty saltine box and almost through it away. Then I thought about all the things I could use it for. A small garbage box on my desk to take care of the little pieces of paper after I cut them. A scraps box, and then it came to me, I need a chipboard box, for all the small pieces of chipboard I have. PERFECT!

I got out my paper, and the clear tape and away I went working on the box. Easy Peasy! Once it was covered in paper, it needed embellishments.

I used things that I won in blog candy. The butterfly, the ribbon, the flower, even the brad and tag were won from blog candy. (thank you my crafty blog friends)

9x4 card

Oh my goodness I have been having a ball with all of these challenges. What a wonderful way to get inspiration for new creations.

I started this card with one challenge in mind. That was the challenge at :http://comeandgetitchallenges.blogspot.com/ The challenge was to make a 9 1/4 inch card by 4 inch Weird dimensions huh? Well as it turns out it fits perfectly into a business sized envie so thats why this size.

I am loving all of these challenges that I am finding. I am doing things I never would have tried before. It's so much fun.

I Love this little stamp from Stampin Up. Unfortunately I sold this set, so I'll be looking for it again at garage sales this summer.

I used paper from Recollections and plain blue card stock. My favorite inexpensive adhesive tabs by trueliving.

Rocket card- This card was made for the Pumpkin Spice DT application. I'm supposed to mention my favorite paper co. I can't say that I have one. I use tons of them. BoBunny, Recollections, Sassafras, ColorBok, and the list goes on and on and on.. I'm a paper nut. I really love textured cardstock but haven't bought any for awhile, guess thats on my next shopping trip. Okay, back to my card

card challenge

This is a side step card that I am entering in the MTC/SVG challenge at the The Scrapoholic. What a fun way to get some crafty inspiration going.

I am also entering this card into the challenge at More than Favors Fun in the Sun challenge.

I used their sun/cloud file, isn't it cute? Make sure you head over there to get the file and enter in their challenges.

I used To the One I love stamp from Peddler's Pack, if anyone is interested in buying it, I have this one used for $2.00 plus shipping.

I also used the cute little hedgehog stamp from Penny Black. That is also for sale for $3.00 plus shipping.

On my journaling box I used a stamp from the 2000 Stampin Up stamps. I love this stamp, as I can't write in a straight line worth a poo!

The flowers I won in a hop, they are from Recollections and called Boutique Fleur.

I chose to make a snowglobe card with a butterfly theme for Summer. I had no idea what I was going to make with this butterfly that I won at a blog hop but thought it was so cute, so when this summer challenge, came along, I thought it was perfect! For the scraps challenge, I used what little bit of brown patterned paper that I had left over. I love the design, and won that paper also. Thank you to all you crafters who post challenges, and hops and giveaways.

I have the svg file available along with the digi stamp file available for $3.50 for the snowglobe. The svg file cuts in 5 pieces. The outer card, the background, the globe, and the two pieces for the base of the globe.
