Happy Easter card

First Easter card for me of the Year.  I'm feeling like I need a big Easter Egg on the left hand side.

Happy Spring

Happy Spring!  I can't wait for spring to come.  Its almost April and it snowed today!  What is
going on here?

For my card I used one of Sherri Baldy's Lil Lovely's digi stamps. I usually use one of her My-Besties images but this one is just too cute to pass up.

Thinking of You

My Auntie had to have surgery on her leg yesterday.  With lots of love, prayers, and talented 
surgeons, the surgery was a success and she is well on her way to healing now.  I decided to
make her a little pick me up card to let her know I was thinking of her.
This is an easel card that stands almost completely upright.  
This paper comes from leftover paper trimmings.

Clean and Simple Easel card

Another easel card today.  I used Fancy Franny My-Besties digi stamp.

I love this Besties digi stamp in fact I love most all of Sherri's images. They

are fun, cute, and inspiring.  Big eyes, Big bows, big buttons, big hair, whats not

to love?  :)  

I like putting her images with happy and encouraging sentiments.  Just makes me smile.

Tub Time

hello friends..

Today I am doing a little digital scrapbooking.  I colored my digi stamp with Copics, then took a photo of it to add to my digital layout.
This is my little dog Cookie.  you can see by the look on her face, tubby time is not her favorite time.
Another big difference between this digi and our house is that I am totally soaking wet by the time bath time is over.  LOL

Tulip card

I tried a new product today, and I was heavy handed with it.  Not too thrilled with my results, but its still
pretty.  I will have to practice.  Its the Cream colored Pearl Pen by Viva.  It's not really a pen at all, but
like a thin bottle of paint that you dab on.

This is one of my favorite flower stamps by PSX.  I used Copic markers to color it.  G94, and RV17.  I
highlighted a few areas with my white gel pen by Pentel.

Mod Squad has their Spring Palette challenge going on, and I thought I would enter.  You can use as little
as 1 color or all of them.  I used 2.

Thinking of you

My friend isn't feeling well, so thought I would make her a card to help her feel better.  This is her design
a My-Bestie stamp.

The one thing that I see as an advantage for clear stamps rather than digi stamps is that you can
emboss them.  It really helps me color within the lines because it gives a nice raised edge along
each of the lines.

1 card 2 challenges Punches and In the kitchen

I have to say that I just love the Paper Playful blog.  I ran across a challenge, and one other challenge that helped me make the cut card below.  

The reason I like them is because they make you think beyond what you normally would do for your card.  Well at least for me anyway, I am a minimalist.No, maybe I am just lazy, or impatient.  Maybe all 3 apply?  I don't know but I this is why I like challenges.

Scrapping Every day Miracles

Good morning, Good morning, such a beautiful day.  I feel like laughing, and singing, and bouncing in my chair. lol   The sun is out and shining today, and its so very needed.  The winter has been so dark grey here in Michigan.  The sunshining in the craft room is wonderful!
