I came across a lovely page on facebook called the digi garden. Have you heard of it? It has cute little digi stamps, and they are having a new release tomorrow. I was so lucky to get a few of them before their release.  Be sure to look them up!    Thanks so much Digi Garden.

Valentine Card for my honey

I'm early on this years Valentine Card for my honey.  I saw this digistamp by Sherri Baldy and had to have her.
I just love that sweet little face.  I know its pink, and its girly, but..but..but..  okay, no excuses, its just too cute not to use it for my honey's Valentine card.

Happy New Year and giveaway

It's about time, a little less than a week until we say goodbye to the old year and welcome 2013!
Time for us to start thinking about a New Year's Resolution too.
I have decided that this year I am going to.... Quit cursing- now that would be a good one.  I have been talking like a trucker lately. tsk tsk tsk, shake my head and wash my mouth out with soap.  I'm 42 years old and can say I wouldn't talk like that in-front of my mother, she would have a cow. hahahaha  Sorry Mom!    Okay so thats a good one to give up.  Last year I gave up soda pop.  It went really well for about 3 months, then I went out to a restaurant and gave in.  Hopefully this year I can do a little better than that.

Do you have any resolutions?  Will you be going out for the New Year?  Let me know, would love to hear.  I will pick a winner Jan. 1st

Happy Birthday card

Thanks for coming to take a peak at my blog. I made this card using an image from Sherri Baldy.  It was a pre-colored image that is available at the store.  I love the pre-colored images because I can print it out and flop it on my card and wallah its done!  How easy is that?  No skill required. hahahaha   I got this image from www.scrapbookstampsociety.com this is from the  big head bestie selection.

The digi garden was giving this cute stamp named Ursula away today so I immediately made a card with it.

I used Bo Bunny papers, colored the digi in inkscape, and used a kreaxions circle cutter.  Thanks for taking a peak.

White on White challenge f

Amazing challenge going on at the scrapbook stamp society challenge blog.  Its a white on white challenge, easy right?  NOT!  I can't believe how difficult I thought this challenge was.  I ended up

using my Cuttlebug to create texture.  I used my Martha Stewart ribbon punch for the bottom edge.  That is actually a mistake, it took the whole bottom off and I had to glue it back on. LOL  I am laughing because almost every project I make has something that doesn't go as planned. LOL

Christmas card

Simple Christmas card.  I used a pre-colored image by SHerri Baldy from www.scrapbookstampsociety.com so I didn't have to color it.  I used a cut file from Bird for my holley and berries.  I used red glitter glue around the picture and the berries.

Santa hat card and Free digi stamps

Good Sunday Morning!  Okay so its afternoon here already, I got a late start.  :)

Today I made a Santa Hat card using an svg file from Bird from Birdscards.  She creates the most beautiful files and best of all they are FREE.

I decided to emboss the white parts with my Cuddlebug.  cute huh?   Thanks for taking a peak.

I made 8 of these for my hubby for his friends at work.  He came back with this one just for me with a mushy love note inside.  He is awesome!

Sketch challenge layout

Sketch challenge layout for Scrappy Corner on facebook.  I used Momenta papers and stickers.

My grandparents took me to a hotel when I was around 8 just so I could enjoy the pool and  the game room they had there.  

This was another sketch challenge at Bev's Scrappy Corner.  I used the photo of my hubby and I holding our little dog at Drummond Island.

Today I made a card using Kim Gwin's digi stamp of 2 penguins.  I just love it, she drew it just for me!  Its now up for sale at www.scrapbookstampsociety.com

I put her digi onto a photo and printed it out, then created the card like normal.

Card Challenge with Prize

Paper Patch Craft has a card challenge now through the 15th of December.  The challenge is to create a card with a cut in the front.  I couldn't sleep this morning and I decided to take on this challenge (since I am on the Design Team and because it's just plain fun).  We hope you will want to play along too.

loom knit ruffle scarf

My friend from Texas came to stay with me, and bought me this beautiful skein of yarn.  It is very different than the normal yarn as it already has a design crocheted into it.  I don't think I would have ever tried it as it looked very intimidating.  Just the opposite turned out to be true however.  Its a very easy scarf to crochet on the loom.
