Thankful Thursday giveaway
I ran across the Thankful photo challenge at DL.ART blog. http://dianamlarson.blogspot.com Of course the first thing you think of is your family, but you are not allowed to say who you are thankful for, but what you are thankful for.
My mind started to think, and it would still be the time I spend with my family. Our best family time is spent CAMPING. No running water, No electricity, just the four of us, a lake, a rowboat, and a pop-up camper. We love it. We spend time fishing, swimming, walking trails, geocaching, playing games, charades, cards, ring toss, bocci ball.

German Bell
Although you can't really tell, this ornament is in Gold embossed paper, with Silver ribbon. I just love it. It only takes 1 piece of 12 x 12 paper, and there are no cuts, just folds.
I found the tutorial for it at: http://www.ttinkerplanett.com/
I am entering it into their German Bell Challenge.

Free card svg file
I really like this digi- designed by Sherri Baldy. It can be bought at http://www.scrapbookstampsociety.com/
This shaped card svg file is designed by me, and is free for you this week. I tend to lose my files shortly after that amount of time. lol
You can contact me at ShersL84bed@aol.com if you would like this free file.
Snowflakes with images on them.
I made a snowflake the other day, and liked it so much that I decided to make a few more. 3 of the images came from http://www.scrapbookstampsociety.com/ and were designed by Sherri Baldy and Heather Valentin. The other image of the fairy was a stamp from sweet pea stamps, I am unsure of who the designer is. Thanks for taking a peak.

Winter Wonderland Hop day 2
Welcome to day 2 of the Winter Wonderland Hop!
PSA Essentuals is sponsoring this hop
For my project I made snowflakes with Sherri Baldy's digi stamp in the middle. You can find this stamp at http://www.scrapbookstampsociety.com/
I cut the snowflake on the cricut/scal. I also used the cricut markers to outline the snowflake. Then I used a rubber stamp and stamped all over it to give it color. There is a hole cut out at the top to hang with fish string, but when I did that and took a photo you couldn't see it very well. You get the idea.

Addicted to Stamps Holiday Blog Hop Dec 3rd and 4th
Welcome to the Addicted-To-Stamps December Holiday Blog Hop!
This is our Holiday blog hop and the design team has a lot of great projects in store for you.
Today we are showing off a small selection of our digi stamps. We however carry many more digis, clear rubber stamps, molds and other products. We also have another site that carries Fantasy Fabric Blocks.
and
My project is for my two son's girlfriends. I know they will love the cute digi designed by Heather Valentin called Lil Sophia Hot Chocolate. I found out today that she has matching ribbon with Lil Sophia on it. I wish I would have found out about that sooner because that would have looked so cute with my gifts.
This candle and matching card was so easy to make. I taped tissue paper onto cardstock and ran it through my printer to print out Lil Sophia. Colored it with markers, then with my heat embossing gun I melted the tissue right onto the candle. I put a robe, the candle, and matching card into the box for the girls for Christmas. I can't wait for them to open it.Today we are showing off a small selection of our digi stamps. We however carry many more digis, clear rubber stamps, molds and other products. Mouse card
Mouse challenge at Bitten by the bug 2 http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/2011/11/meowmouse-challenge.html
Here is my first try. My little white mouse with sparkly background. I made the mouse from the four legged friend cartridge. Then bent his tail to curl back around so he could hold an ornament on it and still have his tail on the card. I made a 4 inch mouse so I didn't have much room. I went back and added little black dots and dashes as an outline around my mouse and like it so much better.

There is a challenge over at She's a Sassy Lady http://www.shesasassylady.blogspot.com/ It just so happens to come at a time when I am making a mini album for a Christmas swap.

If you have hopped here from Kristy's blog, then you have arrived at the perfect spot in the Turkey Coop!! If you are just popping in to visit, please take a trip back to Amy's Blog (http://www.lovetocrop.com) to start at the beginning -- we've got a bunch of Gobble-Gobble-Goodness, you won't want to miss out on any of the FUN!!
For my project I have created this Thanksgiving card. I stamped 2 images of the turkey and layered them with foam to make the body stick out a bit from the tail.
Thanks for visiting! Go here next:

Warm Winter Wish Mini album
Fun mini album. I designed the svg files for the book in Inkscape, then cut on my Cricut. Each seperate color is a new page. The pages are put together by The Cinch.
The cute image is a digi stamp by Heather Valentin that can be found at http://www.scrapbookstampsociety.com/
If you would like the free svg files for this mini album you email me at ShersL84bed@aol.com (you must purchase the digi at scrapbook stamp society)

Epilepsy affects my family in a BIG way! I was diagnosed with Grand Mal seizures at 8 years old, after having a seizure riding on the back of a motorcycle going down the highway. My epilepsy is well controlled on Dilantin. I do have break-thru seizures if I miss a dose of medicine, try the generic form, or if I don't get enough sleep. Those are a few of my triggers that I try to avoid.
Dale is my oldest son. We found out he had epilepsy when he was in his late high school years. He was diagnosed incorrectly as Attention Deficit Disorder. Dale has atonic seizures and absense seizures. Dale takes Depakote to control his seizures. Generic medications have not been helpful for him.
This is my youngest son Alex. We found out in his Senior year that he has Epilepsy too. His seizures are more of a simple jerk of his shoulders and neck that look like a shiver. He is taking Depakote, and not happy with this medicine.
He went from 135 to 180 in a manner of just 3 months.
