Bookmark card, challenge , plus tutorial

Welcome to my blog!

Today I am designing for the Scrapbook Blessings Club. http://scrapbookblessings.blogspot.com/
There is a brand new challenge up, hope you will come play along.  You have 13 days to make
your project.

Our assignment was to make a bookmark card.  There is a wonderful tutorial on the blog here: http://scrapbookblessings.blogspot.com/

My image is sponsored by the stamping chef. I printed out the image and
cut it into 2 parts, one part for my card and one part for my bookmark.
Looking at my card now, I see that the receiver of my card could actually
use both sides as a bookmark if they wanted to.

Let's Capture our Memories Card Sketch #76

It's time for another fun card sketch at Let's Capture Our Memories. This month's theme is
birthdays.  We happen to have a couple birthday girls this month including myself.  Yay! Happy Birthday to us.  :)

This card I have made for my youngest son who happens to turn 21 on July 1st this year.  His favorite color is green, so I popped a little bit of color into it.

Now this was a fancy sketch with lots of details.  whew! I think I got them all, hope so, because I can't fit much more onto this card. :)

I've used Spellbinders dies, Sherri Baldy My-Bestie flower die, and brads to finish my card.

Would love to see what you can do this month with our sketch, hope you will come play along with us.  http://letscaptureourmemories.blogspot.com/

Scrapbook Blessings Club kit

Each month a new card kit is offered at Scrapbook Blessings Club.  You get a small variety of
cardstock, patterned papers, embellishments, and a few extra goodies.

For the month of June, the kit offers strawberry brads, fabric stickers, beautiful red ribbon,
a white pen that feels like it glides when using it, its awesome!!!  We also got a small chalk inker.

Be sure to come by Youtube and watch our video of all the projects the design team have made with this fun kit.  If you would like to join in on the fun come join Scrapbook Blessings Club on
Facebook, and ask about it.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheScrapBookblessingsClub/

Here are just a few of the projects I've made with the kit so far.

Card made using 3 of the strawberry brads.  I made inchies for them.  I used the ants stamp by Lawn Fawn.
Strawberry fabric sticker.  Watermelon sticker, and the red cardstock and yellow patterned paper.

Card made using the pink cardstock, patterned paper, You are my sunshine embellishment, and
the white pen to do all the wavy lines.

We got this awesome tag base, and I went to town loading it up with the
embellishments that were in the kit.  Cloud and sun, 2 stick pins, a round fan thing,
the stamp Happy Summer from Lawn Fawn.  The only thing I used from my
own stash was the yellow ribbon.

fancy fold card with link to tutorial

I found this fancy fold tutorial for a Stair Step card.  I just love how it turned out.

I am using a Sherri Baldy My-Bestie image that has been pre colored but I added
some colored pencil to it just for fun.
My butterflies are suspended by pieces of clear acetate.  The dies are from Memory Box.
The fancy edges on my steps are from a punch by Martha Stewart.

how to fix a broken cuttlebug

I found this page on how to fix a broken Cuttle Bug.  I hear a lot of people have overloaded the machine
including myself to find that is breaks, and no longer has any pressure.  Don't cry, Don't scream, Don't
throw the piece of  *%## across the room.  Look no further, the blog link below shows step by step instructions on how to easily fix it and get it working again.   Yay!  Happy Face again!

Good luck, if you have had this problem, I'd love to hear from you.

My-Besties Garden Stars and stripes design

Hi blogger land

Not sure if anyone but me is watching, but I just love to talk and blabber on, so here I go...
(better than talking to myself right?) LOL

Today's card I have used a stamp by Sherri Baldy. Big surprise huh? lol  I might have mentioned before
I am addicted to these big eyed beauties called My-Besties.  Found here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/128660889/instant-download-digital-digi-stamps-big?ref=market

I used my embossing folder with stars on it because I saw a challenge called stars and stripes, and another
challenge had this adorable sketch with the 3 stripes, so they work perfectly together.

You can find the stars and stripe challenge here: http://frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/2014/05/friday-challenge-stars-and-stripes_23.html ends June 5th

You find the sketch 91 challenge here: http://feeling-sketchy.blogspot.com.au/ ends june 14

card kit hop! Come play along.

My first design team post for Scrapbook Blessings Club.  I'm so excited. It's one of my favorite
groups online.  Always a lot of fun, and a lot of encouragement and inspiration. I hope you will come play along with us either at our blog or our Facebook group page.

This months mini card kit is fantastic.  It comes with a white pen which glides like a dream.
A chalker, paper, and embellishments.  The chalker is amazing too.  I'm not kidding, this was my first time
using it and I am hooked now and want to get all of the colors.  You can read all about the club below my post.  Hope you'll come join and see what the fun is all about.   Here are just a few of the projects I have made with my kit this month.
The little strawberries are brads, aren't they cute? I think they go
perfectly with the felt strawberry and the plastic watermelon slice
that came in my kit.  The ants are adorable too, fun stamp set.
I used my new white pen for all the little squiggles.  I love how white
it turns out even on that dark paper behind it.
This tag came in my card kid all I had to do was embellish it.
I took a few of the embellishments in my kit and through
them together and made this tag in five minutes.  I love the
stick pins don't you?

Come check out the rest of the girl's kits and what they did with it here:
