Happy Easter

It is a rainy day here in Michigan this wonderful Easter morning.  Not sure if any young ones will be outside looking for eggs today.
In a couple hours we will be eating a yummy dinner with my husband's side of the family.  We have a newborn baby niece in our family.  Will be cute to see her all in her little Easter dress.

I want to wish all my friends a very Happy Easter.

Birth stone Besties (January)

Oh my gosh, I love this new little Birth Stone Bestie that Sherri Baldy has created.  She posted it out today
and I couldn't wait to make a card with it.  It already has the garnet birthstone for January and the flower for January and the word January on the base of it.  I just added my mom's birth date to it.

This is my card.  I am just learning how to use Copic Markers. I have a long way to go, but it sure is fun
practicing with them.  

Small gift bag with matching card

Easy 10 minute project.  I used an svg file to cut this little big.  I am using Echo Park paper from the Little boy line.  Anne Luper carries this at her store Paper Patch Crafts.  My son turns 23 this year

and I want him to remember he'll always be my little boy.

DT assignment

I am trying to get on a design team for Puddleduck Publishing.  It has been narrowed down to 15 girls.
Our assignment is to make a wedding card with a Mickey and Minnie theme.

I wanted to still have a traditional feel about my card, I think it worked out pretty well.  :)

birthday card and scrapbook layout for my son

After creating a birthday card for my 23 year old son yesterday, I thought I would scrap a few photos of him as a baby. Wow where did the time go? That top photo is my favorite, looks like he is just waiting for me to leave the room so he can figure out his escape plan. lol I used little boy by Echo park paper and stickers found at Paper Patch Crafts.
