Summer themed Journal June 20

ScrapaliciousUSA Design Team has a fun summer themed challenge this week.  If you would like to enter your summer themed project be sure to enter our challenge blog at:  http://scrapalicioususa.blogspot.com/  You have 2 weeks to enter

I made this cute journal.  I bought a regular journal but it was a little to plain for my liking.  So I fancied it up.
I plan on using this for our camping journal.  I will put our camping destinations- our camp site  numbers what we liked or didnt like about a particular campground or camp site, camping recipes, small sketches and more.

I printed out this cute digi, then colored in with Copic Markers. (you can find them for a great price at the link below)
I used glossy accents on her eyes, her lips, and on the fire.
Then I used adhesive to make it stick. (you can find a huge selection of adhesives below)

Supplies:
Copic Markers- Only $5.25 at https://www.scrapalicioususa.com/InksCopicMarkersandEtc
Adhesive-Get adhesives as low as $2.40 https://www.scrapalicioususa.com/Adhesives
Glossy Accents- Hobby Lobby carries this.
Plain Journal-  I apologize, I can't remember where I purchased the journal, Walmart?

Dt call at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz

I made this card a few months back with one of Kenny K's fabulous designs named "Cheyenne".  I designed and cut the card on my Cricut.   At the time I wasn't sure if I was going to leave this a card or use it as a fun photo frame for a friend.
I am trying out for the DT call here http://kennykkraftygirlzchallenges.blogspot.no/2012/05/design-team-call.html .  I would love to work with these images any time, so fun to use.  If you haven't tried them before, and you like sexy, fun and awesome, you need to get over there!
For the wood grain effect, I used Fiskars texture plates, then went over it with a dark chalk.  I used Copic Markers to color Cheyenne. Then I added a little bit of twine to hang on the post to look like a Cowgirl's rope.  I am really happy with the way it turned out.  Just need to put a cowboys photo in there now.  :)
What do you think?  She's pretty sexy huh?
Can't wait to get her?  She is only $3.00 and you can find her right here http://www.kennykdownloads.com/cheyenne-digi-stamp.php

For today i have created a Father's Day card using Heather Valentin's image Daddy's Girl found here: Daddy's Girl

I just love this image, and used it on 2 cards.  On the first card I used Momenta paper from their Celebrations and Occasions Collection.
On my Second card, I used plain white card stock and simply layered it with more plain white card stock that I embossed with a  Fiskars Texture wood grain plate.  I made little coat hangers out of thing wire and hung them on a brad that I used for closet door handles.

Wait would you like some candy?  Leave a nice comment on the blogs in this hop and our main blog, become a follower of our main blog and you can win your choice of one of these fantastic images that you have seen on the hop.
