Graduation Card Box

This is the graduation card box I made for my son Alex. My friend Vicki at http://vickiscreativecraftingcorner.blogspot.com made the card that says Alex on the side of the box. Isn't it fabulous? It will go in a memory book after the party but for now, I think its perfect for his card box. (thank you Vicki)
I took 2 USED flat rate boxes and taped them together and its the perfect size. I used the blue painters tape all around the corners, and used 12 x 12 papers to decorate the boxes. I used a few of his photos too. The thing at the top is a piece of mat board folded in half to top the box. There is a slit on top of the box to insert the cards. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

Welcome to BugBites first ever Bug Hop, Grillin’ & Chillin’ Bug Hop!
To celebrate the beginning of summer, Barb over at BugBites is hosting two consecutive weekends of Bug Hops.
This weekend it is all about the Grillin’, May 28-30.
If you've come from visiting Shana's , you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Grillin’ & Chillin’ Bug Hop, click HERE to start from the beginning.
Each designer along the bug trail is featuring a project based on the Grillin’ & Chillin’ theme. What’s more exciting is you can participate too by creating a project and linking it up over at BugBites for a chance to win a Big Prize.
But, there’s a twist. Your project must included at least one Cricut cut and at least one of the critters that have been hidden within some of the bug stop blogs. Be sure to visit all the bug stops to find all your critter choices.
While you are looking for the critters, be sure to check out the blog candy that each designer has to offer you. You don't want to miss out on any of it!

****I will be giving away a free svg file of my card to 1 lucky winner****

Next stop is Deb's blog, at http://www.debspaperpassion.blogspot.com/ See what she has in store for you today.
Remember, once you have hopped to all the bug stops, it's your turn to show us your Grillin’ & Chillin’ project.

Glitter Explosion Blog Hop- Decorate to Celebrate Challenge

I am entering this prom clock in the Decorate to Celebrate challenge- http://decoratetocelebrate.blogspot.com/

This hop will have projects that are all sparkling with glitter. Please be sure to make it all the way through the hop. You should have come to my blog hop from http://www.scrappingmamma.net/ if you didn't please make sure you go to the start of the hop at http://www.justyolie.com/ so you won't miss out on a thing. There will be candy on the hop.

Tammy -
http://tammyjennings.blogspot.com/ (go here next)

For my project I made a glitter clock for my son and his girlfriends prom photo. I used a plain black and white clock that I found at Walmart for $5.00 , glittered chipboard hearts and arrows, and a little bit of bling around the outside of the clock where the actual numbers are.

I dry embossed the paper to raise it up a bit, then applied blue sparkly glitter glue to each of the raised spots. This project couldn't get more glittered then this. LOL I hope his girlfriend likes it, its a little too sparkly for his taste.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. You should be going to http://www.tammyjennings.blogspot.com/ next.

Jenny's Big 3-OH Birthday Blog Hop

Welcome and thank you for joining us for Jenny's Big 3-OH Birthday Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Juel http://jandjsyummycreations.blogspot.com/ If you just happened to stumble upon this hop, please be sure to go back to Jenny's blog {http://www.papercutcreations.blogspot.com/ so that you don't miss any of the wonderful projects we have to share.

Jenny's Birthday rules were that we had to make a project with at least 3 colors and 1 piece of bling. Jenny loves bling! I made a present card, with hot pink, light pink, and white and lots of little pink gems. Now, let me just say, I hate using a lot of bling because I feel like I'm robbing my stash! Usually one or two pieces of bling per project max, but because its Jenny's birthday I went all out with these gems. Inside I stamped with Its a girl thing purses from stampin up. I hope you like my card.Thank you so much for joining us for Jenny's Big 3-OH Birthday Blog Hop!

Your next stop is Darlene http://www.talesoftayandbay.blogspot.com/ If you get lost along the way, stop back at Jenny's blog to see who is next.
